Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to the RedditPal website and your purchase and use of our services. RedditPal (“RedditPal”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides the website and services.

By using the website, booking a call, or signing an Order (defined below), you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

Our services are offered to businesses and professionals only. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind the business you represent.

Our services

RedditPal provides done-for-you Reddit marketing and related visibility services for businesses. Depending on the Order, services may include:

  • Strategy and positioning: audience definition, voice and tone, and participation guidelines;
  • Subreddit research: identification of relevant communities, keyword targets, and risk assessment;
  • Content creation: question-led discussions and experience-based posts written for each community;
  • Engagement and community management: replies, thread moderation support, and feedback handling;
  • Account health management using accounts operated by people, without automation;
  • Search and AI-visibility work: helping useful threads rank in search engines and be cited by AI assistants; and
  • Reporting on rankings, citations, referral traffic and conversions attributed to Reddit activity.

The exact scope, deliverables, schedule and fees for your engagement are set out in a written proposal, order form or invoice agreed with us (an “Order”). If an Order conflicts with these Terms, the Order prevails for that engagement.

Orders, onboarding and intro calls

An introductory call is a free, non-binding conversation to understand your goals. Nothing is agreed until you accept an Order in writing, whether by signature, email confirmation, or payment of the first invoice.

During onboarding we may ask for information about your business, product, audience, competitors and brand guidelines. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable time. Delays on your side may move delivery dates and do not extend any measurement window under an Order unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Your responsibilities and approvals

You are responsible for the accuracy of the claims made about your business, product and results. Unless an Order says otherwise, content is prepared for your approval before publication, and nothing is published on your behalf without your approval.

You agree that:

  • you will review drafts promptly and tell us in writing of any changes or concerns;
  • you own, or have the right to use, the brands, names, images and materials you give us;
  • your products and services are lawful and are not on the list of prohibited or restricted activities in Section 12; and
  • you will make any disclosures that the law or a platform requires about your relationship with the content (for example, that a commenter is affiliated with the brand).

Third-party platforms and no guarantee of outcomes

RedditPal is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Reddit, Inc., Google, OpenAI, Perplexity or any other third party. “Reddit” and other third-party names are the property of their owners and are used only to describe the services.

Reddit, search engines and AI assistants are operated by third parties that set their own rules and may change them at any time. Moderators and platform systems may remove content, restrict accounts or change how content is ranked or cited. These decisions are outside our control. We follow each community’s published rules and the platform’s terms, but we cannot guarantee that any content will remain published, receive a particular number of votes or comments, rank at a particular position, or be cited by any AI assistant.

The only outcome commitments we make are those expressly stated in an Order and in Section 6.

Results-based commitment

Where an Order includes a results-based commitment (sometimes described as “if we do not deliver, you do not pay”), the following applies:

  • the target metrics, the data sources used to measure them, and the measurement period are stated in the Order;
  • if the targets are not met by the end of the measurement period, the fees for that period are waived, credited or refunded as set out in the Order and in Section 9;
  • the commitment does not apply to the extent a shortfall is caused by your delay or refusal to approve content, changes you request to the agreed approach, claims or products that a platform prohibits, non-payment, or changes to third-party platform policies or algorithms that make the target impracticable; and
  • this remedy is your sole and exclusive remedy for failure to meet a stated target.

Fees, billing and taxes

Fees are stated in the Order. Unless the Order says otherwise, fees are charged in advance for each monthly billing period, in the currency stated on the invoice, and are exclusive of taxes, duties and similar charges, which you are responsible for where applicable.

Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates (“Stripe”). By paying, you agree to Stripe’s terms for the payment method you use. We do not receive or store your full card number. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Late or failed payments. If a payment fails, we will notify you and may retry the charge. If an invoice remains unpaid after the due date and a reminder, we may pause the services until it is paid. Amounts unpaid after the due date may carry interest at the lower of 1% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law.

Price changes. We may change our fees for future billing periods by giving you at least 30 days’ written notice. Changes do not affect a period already paid.

Term, renewal and cancellation

Unless the Order says otherwise, services run month to month and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

How to cancel. You may cancel at any time by emailing [email protected] before your next billing date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, services continue until then, and no further charges are made. There are no cancellation fees. We will confirm your cancellation by email.

If an Order has a fixed term, it ends at the end of that term unless renewed, and early cancellation is governed by the Order.

Refund and cancellation policy

This section explains when you can receive a refund. It forms part of these Terms.

  • Introductory calls are free of charge.
  • Monthly fees cover work that starts when the billing period begins, so fees for a billing period that has started are generally non-refundable.
  • Results-based commitment. If an Order includes a commitment under Section 6 and the stated targets are not met, you are entitled to a refund (to your original payment method) or, if you prefer, a credit for the fees paid for that measurement period.
  • Undelivered services. If we fail to deliver agreed services in a billing period for reasons within our control, you may request a refund or credit for the undelivered portion.
  • Billing errors. If you were charged incorrectly or twice, we will refund the incorrect amount in full.

How to request a refund. Email [email protected] within 30 days of the charge, with your name, the email used for the purchase and the reason for the request. We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank so that we can resolve the issue quickly.

Because our services are provided to businesses, statutory consumer withdrawal rights do not apply. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable law that cannot be excluded.

Intellectual property

Subject to payment, you own the content we create specifically for you under an Order (the “Deliverables”) once it is delivered. You grant us a limited licence to use your names, logos and materials only to perform the services.

We keep ownership of our pre-existing and general-purpose materials, methods, templates, research approaches and tools. We will not name you as a client or publish your results as a case study without your written permission.

Content you publish on Reddit is also subject to the licence that Reddit’s terms grant to Reddit and its users.

Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other’s non-public business information confidential, use it only for the engagement, and not disclose it except to employees, contractors and advisers who need to know it and are bound by confidentiality obligations, or where required by law. This does not apply to information that is public through no fault of the recipient, was already known to it, or is independently developed.

Acceptable use and compliance

We do not provide services that are deceptive, unlawful or that breach a platform’s rules. We will not run vote manipulation, automated posting, fake reviews, or impersonation, and we will not make false or misleading claims about your products. We may decline or stop any work that we reasonably believe would breach the law, a platform’s rules or these Terms.

We do not work with businesses that offer illegal products or services, adult content, weapons, counterfeit goods, unlicensed financial or gambling services, or other activities restricted by our payment processor’s rules or applicable law.

Website use

You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it or its systems, scrape it at a rate that burdens it, or use it to send unsolicited messages. The website and its content, including text, design, graphics and logos, belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Information on the website is general and for information only. It is not legal, financial or investment advice.

Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in these Terms or an Order, the website and services are provided “as is” and “as available”, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Any figures, charts and testimonials shown on the website are examples and are not a promise of future results.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the services.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms and any Order is limited to the fees you paid to us in the three months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims, and related losses and reasonable costs, arising from the materials, claims or instructions you give us, your products or services, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law. We will give you prompt notice of any such claim and reasonable cooperation.

Suspension and termination

Either party may terminate an Order for material breach if the breach is not remedied within 14 days of written notice. We may suspend the services immediately if required by law, to comply with a platform’s rules, or to prevent harm. On termination, you will pay for services performed up to the termination date, subject to Section 9, and Sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting formal proceedings, each party will first try in good faith to resolve the dispute by written notice and discussion for at least 30 days. Subject to that, the courts of the United States of America have exclusive jurisdiction, and each party submits to them.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify active customers by email. The updated Terms apply to Orders made after the effective date and to renewals after it. Your continued use of the website or services after a change means you accept it.
